The main use of n-Paraffin is for the production of LAB (Linear Alkylbenzene) for the detergent industry or as a plasticizer and for lamp oils.
Normal Paraffins are a clear liquid that are made up of saturated hydrocarbons with a straight-chain structure. They are either extracted from kerosene or through the "Fischer-Tropsch process" at gas-to-liquid production sites.
Examples of applications
n-Paraffin is mainly used in the production of Linear Alkylbenzene as well as in the production of chlorparaffins, plasticizers, lamp oils, BBQ lighters, cutting oils, lubricants and metal working products.
